Schizma is one of the oldest and most recognizable, both at home and abroad, Polish hardcore bands. The band was founded in 1990 and for more than three decades of existence, despite a number of personnel changes, it has been continuously playing, recording and being faithful to the uncompromising style and message characteristic of the independent hc scene. Schizma's output includes more than ten releases, but what the band lives on and what one dedicated crowd does is live performances, reflecting what is most important in hc: the energy around creating community and countercultural events that give vent to the emotions associated with living in a world that is increasingly moving away from all ideals.

Schizma has played close to a thousand concerts across Poland and more than a dozen countries, and despite the passing years continues to play both small local gigs and large festivals reaching wherever the fire of the independent scene burns or smolders. The band has shared the stage with such renowned lineups as Length Of Time, l'Espirit Du Clan, Strife, Madball, Integrity, Terror as well as Vader, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Anthrax and DRI.

The year 2023 brings the long-awaited new full-length album, "Fall," released on the Piranha Music label. The album, following the last two EPs "For You" and "About Us" and the LP "Whatever It Takes Whatever It Wrecks," continues a new era in the group's activities. HCTD!

(noise rock, punk, post-hc)

An insanely upbeat group performing music from the broader noise rock genre, passionately romancing post-hardcore and emo. If names like Fugazi, Ewa Braun or A Place to Bury Strangers say something to you, and energetic concerts of hyperactive musicians running half-marathons on stage are your fairy tale - you'll definitely like this quartet.
